Marcia Granz Obituary
Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, at the age of 72, after a long illness. Marcia was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 40 years, Juergen Granz, son, Stefan Granz, and siblings and their wives, James Farrell and Nena Bloomquist, Joyce Conly, Diane Corriveau, Robert Farrell Jr. and Margaret Farrell, and many nieces,nephews, and relatives in Germany. Born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Marcia was a dental hygienist and graduate of the dental school at Fairleigh Dickinson University Marcia loved to ski and spent time as a member of a Killington Vermont Ski House where she met her husband, Juergen in 1983 and then moved to Rochester New York. Before her illness, she was an active member of the Rochester Yacht Club and the German Club of Lima. Marcia's passions were her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Friends are invited to join Marcia's family for calling hours on Monday, July 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617.Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues, July 25, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church,445 Kings Highway South,Rochester NY 14617. Inurnment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church, Christ the King.

I was so shocked to hear about Marsha passing from a Killington ski friend on 8/8/23. She was my dental hygienist at Dr. Robert Burns in Wellesley, MA.
We got to be friends and I joined the Heath club light & lovely through her.We had some fun times together. I invited her as a guest ski at Killington and she joined a ski house. She met her Prince Charming Juergen Granz. They got married in early May 1983 in Killington. A fun wedding at the summit lodge. We skied that morning before the wedding.
Times passes by but we remained friends and sent Xmas cards. When Stefan was born this was so exciting.
Marsha I am sorry that you got sick and have now passed and are in heaven. I will never forget you. Sending much love.
