Marcia Ann Matthias, 81, of Davidson, North Carolina passed away August 20, 2025.
She was born January 6, 1944 in Decorah, Iowa to the late Marion Tobiason and Eileen Winter. In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her husband Ernie Matthias, Jr., and her son, Paul Fraser.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 23, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville. No additional services are scheduled at this time.
Marcia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Craig Kuhstoss and sister, Marnylee Olttrogge.
Marcia enjoyed her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and did admissions at Sleepy Hollow Nursing Home in Virginia. She lovingly cared for her son Paul throughout his battle with health issues. Marcia collected Boyd's Bears, Hallmark ornaments, as well as collectible dolls. She and her husband found joy in operating an antique booth called Winter Memories.
