Marcia Diamond Sherman was born on March 20, 1957 and passed away on October 10, 2025 in Charleston S.C. Born in Pt. Arthur, Texas, she always treasured her summers at Echo Hill Camp and traveling to Europe with her parents.

Marcia graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1975, a member of the National Honor Society and the Red Hussars. She received her B.A. at the University of Texas, was a member of Sigma Delta Tau sorority, and studied Social Work at the University of Arizona.

Marcia married and moved to Charleston, SC and spent her adult life there. She had two wonderful daughters Stacey and Molly. She was very passionate about them as they were more important to her than anything else.

A lifelong Longhorn fan, Marcia also loved Broadway theater and was an excellent cook. She was also a fervent supporter of the State of Israel.

Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Sallie Diamond, Marcia is survived by her daughters Stacey (Robin) and Molly, her brothers Andy (Andrea) and Stephen (Debra), several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
