Marcia Elaine Stone, 77, passed away surrounded by her family on November 3, 2025 at Michigan Medical Center. Marcia's family and friends will gather 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. A memorial service to honor Marcia's life will follow at 12:00 p.m. Pastor John White will serve as celebrant. Interment will take place directly after the service at Oak Grove cemetery in Napoleon.
Marcia was born on November 12, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to Melvin and Erma (Fisher) Longeway. She attended Norte Dame Academy and Stautzenberger college in Toledo, Ohio. Marcia married the love of her life, Jerry B. Stone on August 24, 1969 and they enjoyed 52 years together until his passing in January of 2022. She will be remembered as loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother.
Marcia loved doing all sorts of crafts, shopping and camping and spending sunny days on the lake with her husband Jerry. She will miss her summers at Houghton Lake, where she made many memories with friends. Christmas was her favorite holiday and that has been passed down to her sons, Todd and Brian. She loved to cook and bake, and was known for her famous pumpkin bread. She had a great love of all her golden retrievers, especially Tucker. But Marcia's greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Marcia will be missed by her sons, Todd Stone of North Carolina and Brian Stone of Jackson; her sister Suzanne Land; granddaughter, Skyler Stone and grandson, Crew Stone, both of North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Sarah LaScola-Parks, Matthew LaScola, Susan Melhart, Karyn Mericle, Ellen Blancarte and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry B. Stone, her parents, Melvin and Erma and her sister Sallye Condon.
