Mr. Marcus Wade Cleghorne

Mr. Marcus Wade Cleghorne, 51, of Franklin Springs, GA passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Mr. Cleghorne was born in Athens, GA on July 18, 1974, son of Jerald Keith Cleghorne of Colbert, GA and Lucille Bone Cleghorne of Franklin Springs, GA. He was a painter and member of New Bethel Church in Royston. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Jerald Kevin Cleghoren of Franklin Springs, GA; sister, Amy Melinda Cleghorne of Colbert, GA; step-brothers, Michael Thomas of OK and Jeffery Thomas of Madison County, GA; step-sister, Jana Michelle Dobbins of Danielsville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Cleghorne will be held in the New Bethel Church at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, with Rev. Clay Huff and Rev. Brad Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at New Bethel Church from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Monday afternoon. During other times, the family will be at their respective homes. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
