Marcus Jasper Dyke, age 82, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2024. Marcus was born on April 11, 1942, to Allen and Annie Dyke in Wilkerson (Sugar Hill), Texas. He married his beloved wife, LaJuan on January 6, 1990, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He dedicated his career to truck driving until his well-deserved retirement.
Marcus is survived by his children; Marty Dyke, and wife, Lesa, Kevin Dyke, Lance Justiss, Laura Miles, and husband, Jacob, grandchildren; Jennifer, Kimberly, Parker, Brady Jo, Tyler, Caleb, Dycen, Jacen, and his great-grandchildren, sister, Judy Logan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marcus is preceded in death by his wife, LaJuan Justiss, his son, Dempsey Dyke, his parents, Allen Earnest Dyke and Annie Bell Dyke, his brother, Earnest Wesley Dyke, and his sisters, Marie Arnold, and Dorothy Louise Murphy.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
