Marcus Ray Foster, 60 of Winnsboro, Texas met with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January, 19, 2025. Mark was the son of Ronnie Foster Sr. and Stepmother Debbie Foster.
Mark was a man of faith, loving his family and friends. Mark especially loved his church, Smyrna Baptist and his church family. On September 10, 2023, Mark received his salvation and was baptised. For this we know that Mark is in heaven and not only with past relatives and friends but he has spoken to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mark was a small engine mechanic and worked for many years in his trade. For 10 years he worked at McCrary repairing small engines. Mark also loved playing bass guitar with several bands in the area. After having two strokes and being unable to work, he continued playing his guitar at birthday parties and restaurants in the area.
The joy of Mark's life, Bonnie Foster, passed away in May 2019. Mark said "I really never had a boss until I married Bonnie, and then I knew she was the boss."
Mark is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Foster, and son Stoney Foster. He is survived by his brother Tim Elledge of Weaver, stepbrothers Ronnie Foster Jr. and David Rose of Winnsboro, stepdaughters Vera and Ashley Wilson of Texarkana and Kima McManus of Bertrand, Mo. and 8 grandchildren.
His kindness, compassion, sense of humor, and love for the Lord will be missed by all who knew him.
