Marcus Davis Jones, 54, of Jackson, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm.
Mr. Jones was born October 12, 1969, in Texas to Lee Hall and Jerry Jones. He graduated from Murrah High School, and he worked hanging garage doors for Renfrow Supply Company. He was a hard worker, and he was dedicated to being a caring and devoted father. He will also be remembered as a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a Christian and had recently began attending First Baptist Church of Byram.
Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Joshua Jones; special friend, Christie Steijen; stepbrother, Michael Jones; niece, Tabatha McClain and her three children; nephews, Steven McClain and Todd McClain and his two children.
