Marcus Lovelace Obituary
Marcus Dewayne Lovelace, born on November 25, 1977, in Manchester, CT, and longtime resident of Mansfield, CT, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2024, at Windham Hospital in Connecticut. Son of Rosebud (Bonnett) Lovelace and Maurice Nicholas Lovelace, Marcus was a beloved figure in his community.
Having dedicated many years to the service industry, Marcus worked at Foxwoods David Burke Prime Steakhouse and Michael Jordan's Steak House. His passions included cooking, baking, and experimenting with new recipes, a talent and joy he shared freely with friends and family.
His vibrant personality was not just limited to his culinary skills; Marcus was also known for his love of dancing and singing, and his playfulness with his beloved dogs, Nyah and Chanel. His infectious smile and laughter could light up any room, making lasting memories with all who knew him.
Marcus was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius Bonnett, Celia (Corbett) Bonnett, Onzalo Lovelace and Dorthy Lovelace. Also gone before are his Aunt Claudnett, Uncle Terrace and Bobby.
Marcus will be deeply missed and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him, including his siblings Brian Lovelace, Christopher Lovelace, and Catherine Lovelace Franceschi. He is also survived by numerous relatives; Aunt Peggy, Orlena, Ludmilla, Nadine, Lorene, Marion and Uncle Freddy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all bonded by his loving spirit.
