It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Wayne Lovelace, age 69. Richard passed away July 19 while at the McLeod Hospice House with his loving wife by his side.
Richard was born in York, S.C. a son of the late Asa Dow (AD) and Arie McBee Lovelace. He worked at Kentco Heating and Air for 16 years and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Genia King Lovelace, Hartsville; one son Richard Wayne (Angie) Lovelace, Michigan; one daughter, Kelli Walters, Michigan; nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; one brother, Timothy Neal Lovelace, Hartsville; one sister, Karen Catoe, Oates; special friends, Susan Taylor, Bethune, Jimmy Steen, Bethune and Karen Grantham, Hartsville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents (named above) he was preceded in death by his daughter, Little Rikki Lovelace and a sister, Darlene Long.
A Private Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 26 at 3:00 at his residence at 1038 East Carolina Ave. Hartsville, S.C.
