Marcus Payne Prevost
July 8, 1998 – July 1, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marcus Payne Prevost, who departed this life far too soon at the age of 26 on July 1, 2025. Born on July 8, 1998, Marcus was a free spirit whose soul was most at peace when surrounded by nature. Whether under open skies, in the quiet of the woods, or simply watching the world go by, Marcus found beauty and meaning in the simple things. But above all else, Marcus loved deeply-and his family was at the very center of his heart. Marcus leaves behind a powerful legacy in his five beautiful children: Marcus, Josi'anna, Lil Walt, Dawson, and Ayce. He will forever live on through their smiles, their laughter, and the love they carry forward. He is survived by his loving mother Joann Prevost and father Walter Jackson, an extraordinary family of 23 siblings, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, the mother's of his children Shayla and Kasandra, and friends whose lives he touched with his kind heart and unforgettable presence. Though his time here was brief, Marcus left a lasting mark on all who knew him. His spirit will be missed beyond words-but remembered with love always. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on July 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Creasey Bicentennial Park, 1505 E. Grand Blanc Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. The pavilion is located at the very back of the park. "Until we meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven". Arrangements are with Purse Funeral Home. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
