Marcy Jean Boldon

Marcy Jean Boldon, age 67, of Oakdale, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 9, 1958. Marcy played trombone in the band and was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1977.

Marcy is lovingly survived by her four children: daughters Dr. Naomi (Lars Kotthoff) Boldon, of Paris, France, and Alicia Boldon, of La Crosse, WI; and sons Guy (Bettina Kempf) Boldon, of Bad Bevensen, Germany, and Aaron Boldon, of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Sam (Byron Zeledon) Boldon, of St. Louis, MO, Brooklyn (Jacob Mchugh) Belcher, of Mauston, WI, and Payton Belcher, of Mauston, WI; and great-grandchildren: Oliver and Lucy (Sam), and Arabella and Hartley (Brooklyn).

She is further survived by her sister Linda (James Nagy) Erbs, of Waterford, VA; and brothers Don (Linda) Erbs, of Tomah, WI, Ray (Sue) Erbs, of Sun Prairie, WI, and Larry Erbs, of Elroy, WI.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Sheryl Calvert and Christy Gerwing; and her parents, Bud and Bernie Erbs.

Marcy found solace in nature. Her passion for nutrition and healthy living left a lasting legacy, inspiring her daughter to become the first in the family to earn a doctoral degree in biomedical sciences, with research in the epigenetics of nutrition.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marcy's life at a visitation on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 East Monowau Street, Tomah, WI 54660.

Memorials in Marcy's memory can be given to the family to help offset funeral costs and are greatly appreciated.
