Ms. Mardell Jacqueline (Jackie) White-Ray, age 75, gained her wings and answered her call as she passed away peacefully on, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at The Medical Center Bowling Green, Kentucky.
"Jackie" as everybody knew her was born on, June 4, 1948, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to the late Mrs. Waldene J. Ragland White and Mr. Marvin E. White, Sr. Jackie graduated from Bowling Green High School with honors and was a member of State Street Baptist Church where she prepared food for the kitchen whenever needed. Ms. Jackie retired from Warren County Public Schools as a Special Education Instructional Assistant working with special needs children for 28 years. She was very dedicated to her work and loved her students. Jackie was also the Nursery Supervisor at First Christian Church taking care of the babies for 50 years. Jackie loved reading, dancing, and watching her favorite basketball team, The Golden State Warriors-especially Steph Curry. Jackie also loved to bake. Her specialty was homemade cinnamon rolls, and everybody loved those rolls. She was an excellent cook, and the family would congregate at her house for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for years.
To cherish the loving memory of Mardell Jackie White-Ray she leaves her devoted children, Son, Stanford Ray, daughter, Patrice Ray; 2 sisters, Constance Holmes, Neptune, NJ, LaCreasa (Stanley) Blewett, Auburn, KY; 2 brothers, Malcolm (Hattie) Page, Sylvester Page, Bowling Green, KY; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marva Jean White; brother, Terry Page; nephew William (SKEET) White.
Sincerely,
-Your friends at Burnam and Son
