Maren Marie Noack, 89, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024, in Marlton, New Jersey. Born on August 29, 1934, in Kiel, Germany, Maren's journey of 89 years was marked by her unwavering strength, boundless love, and the joy she found in life's simplest pleasures.
Maren's story began in Germany, where she was born to Max and Erna Kohler, who preceded her in death. Her spirit of adventure and pursuit of a brighter future led her to emigrate from Germany in 1958, settling initially in Minot, North Dakota. Maren's life was a tapestry of new beginnings and cherished memories, as she later settled roots in Burnsville, Minnesota, before finally calling Cherry Hill, New Jersey, her home in 1978.
Her nearly 67-year-long marriage to her beloved husband, Volker E. Noack, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Maren's legacy continues through her devoted daughter, Tanya Noack, (James L. Hammel, III); her granddaughters, Ashley Maren Hammel and her fiancé, Ian Thomson, and Kelsey Anna Hammel, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Maren's love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was the backbone of the family, a role she embraced with both bossiness and grace, always ensuring that everyone was cared for and that her home was a place of warmth and welcome. Her presence was a guiding force, and her ability to take charge with love and authority will be deeply missed.
An avid gardener, Maren found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. Her hands, skilled in the art of knitting. She enjoyed playing with her dog Frankie. Maren's passion for travel took her to the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, the vibrant cultures of Mexico and Canada, the diverse landscapes of Europe, and the sunny shores of Florida.
Maren leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and guide us. Though she may have been bossy at times, it was her way of showing how deeply she cared, making sure that everything was just right for the ones she loved.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt 73 South and Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. A Service will follow at 2:00 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11:00 am, on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
