Margaret Jean Baker

Margaret Jean Baker, 88, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025.
She was born on December 15, 1936, in Rising Sun, IN, daughter of the late Gordon Stutzman and Esther (Cornelius) Stutzman.
Margaret worked as an aide at Woodland Hills Care Center, retiring after more than 21 years of dedicated service.
She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church Aurora, and previously attended Emanuel Lutheran Church in Greendale for over 50 years. Margaret served on the Education Committee and taught Sunday School, reflecting her deep faith and love for her community. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, shopping, reading, doing puzzles, and camping. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Margaret is survived by her children, Karen Morgan (Ray Hill) of Southgate, KY, Sandy (Mike) Greenwood of Lawrenceburg, IN, Cindy (Wif) Foerster of Holiday, FL, Scot (Cindy) Baker of Aurora, IN,
Kelly (Rebecca) Baker of Lawrenceburg, IN, Lynda (Greg) Ross of Lawrenceburg, IN, She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Stutzman of Rising Sun, IN, George Stutzman of Leavenworth, IN, John (Bonnie) Stutzman of Corydon, IN, David (Linda) Stutzman of Brookville, IN, Gordon Stutzman, Jr. of Rising Sun, IN, sister-in-law, Joyce Rybicki; her grandchildren, Leann Malpass, Christina Morgan, Derek Morgan, Spencer Morgan, Tobias Hill, Heather Kicera, Christopher Greenwood, Matthew Greenwood, Brandon Baker, Casey Baker, Kelsie Billups, Tom McWilliams, Britt McWilliams, Brian Ross, Alexander Ross, Joshua Ross, and Samuel Ross, and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Esther Stutzman; her beloved husband, Teddy Baker; her sister, Rebecca Fair, Leona (Richard) Adams; and sister-in-laws, Anita Stutzman, Lois Stutzman, and Mary Stutzman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church, 220 Mechanic St., Aurora, IN.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating.
Interment will be at Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, IN.
