Margaret Anne Biddle

DURHAM: Margaret Anne Biddle, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Croasdaile Village Pavilion. She was born in Lenior, NC to the late John Kenneth Biddle and Elizabeth Williams Biddle.
Ms. Biddle was a 1958 graduate of Grainger High School in Kinston, NC. She also was a graduate from Duke University where she graduated Suma Cum Laude with a B.A. in Christian Education. She then attended Scarrett College in TN where she earned a M.A. in Christian Education. Ms. Biddle was employed at the Jordan Center as the Director of Christian Education where she established preschool programs in many churches in the area.
Ms. Biddle is survived by her brother, John K Biddle III (Sandra); nieces and nephews, Jane Biddle Bell (Danny Bell, Angela Crittenden (Jeff); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Ebbie Bell, Josie Bell, Jenny Biddle Crittenden, Lyon Crittenden, Caz Crittenden.
The family will receive friends A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27th at Few Chapel at Croasdaile Village Chapel. A private burial will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in New Bern, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Association: 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 400, McLean, VA 22102; and the Jordan Child & Family Enrichment Center: 1305 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27605.
