Margaret Botvinis

OXFORD - Margaret Botvinis was born December 30th, 1946, in Waterbury, CT at Waterbury Hospital to Marguerite Mullen of Waterbury. Margaret resided at a Nursery until she was 11 years old, then moved to Southbury Training School where she resided until 2018. She then moved to Oxford, CT to a Group home that she shared with 4 other individuals under Key Human Services. Margaret passed away peacefully in her home on August 8th, 2025, surrounded by Love with those who cared for her. Margaret will be remembered for advocating for herself and others, contagious smile, laughter and sense of humor. Also, for being a social butterfly (but only on her terms). Some of Margaret's favorite pastimes were taking car rides, coloring, playing with her dolls, relaxing outside, dancing and Music therapy - singing her favorite song "How much is that doggy in the window." Margaret was one of a kind and will truly be missed by all the hearts she touched of those who cared for her and an abundant list of friendships she made along the way in her journey of Life.
