Margaret "Meg" Emmons

Margaret "Meg" Emmons, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born to the late Roy and Marie Griffin, she dedicated 25 years to teaching and making a difference in the lives of her students.
She enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, reading a good book, and spending time with those she loved. But her greatest joy came from being with her family-especially her three grandchildren, Caden, Cooper, and Miles, who brought endless joy and laughter to her life.
Meg is survived by her husband, Robert Emmons; son Lee (Katie) Emmons; daughter Elizabeth (Alex) Shirk; grandchildren Caden and Cooper Shirk, and Miles Emmons; brother Roy (Deneen) Griffin Jr; and nieces Emily (Joe) Rock and Bailey (Taylor) Patten. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marie Griffin; and her nephew Mills Griffin.
A devoted Christian and cherished friend, Meg will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor on Saturday from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home to celebrate a life well-lived and deeply loved.
