Margaret Ann Goranson

Margaret Ann Goranson, age 67, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at home in Gresham. She was born in Winona, MN, on July 7, 1956, to the late Laverne and Ruth (Box) Mitchell. She grew up in Minnesota for most of her life and primarily worked as a taxi driver. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Lee Goranson in Winona, MN in 2001. She spent her free time fishing, bowling, playing Mankala, and camping. She was an extremely active woman before her health started to decline. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also an opinionated woman that knew exactly what she wanted. Margaret had a way of making sure everything was up to her standards. She also had a soft side and loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as her pups Dre, Rosie, Oreo and Stormy. She will be dearly missed.
Margaret is survived by: her husband Lee Goranson; her children Ruth (Jason) Jackson and Misty Wilson-Goranson; her grandchildren Damieon, Jazmine and Anthony; her siblings Robert Mitchell, Katherine Meska and Kenneth (Opal) Mitchell. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents Laverne and Ruth, and her brother Gary Mitchell.
Family will not be having services at this time.
