Margaret Green

Margaret Leonard Green was born in Donalsonville, Georgia, to the late Jesse and Lottie Mae Leonard. She later moved to Miami, Florida, and spent over 54 years in Stuart, Florida. In her later years, she made her home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Margaret accepted Christ at an early age and was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. Her faith remained important throughout her life.
She worked as a nurse at Stuart Convalescent Home and later owned her own cleaning business. Margaret enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking homemade meals, and attending church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Lee Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Libby Mathis of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Margaret (Sabrina) (Robert) Toupe of Locust Grove, GA; and Duane Brown of Port Saint Lucie, FL; her stepson, Billy Hunter of Stuart, FL; and her beloved dog, Honey. She is also survived by her two brothers, Willie Leonard (Pauline) of Port Saint Lucie, FL, and Lewis Leonard (Wylene) of Stuart, FL; along with 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends, including nieces, nephews, and a dear friend
Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
