Marjie passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2024. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Frederick Haab; her sons Dan (Karen) and Tim (Beth); her grandchildren Jamie Prophet (Steve), Andrew (Alexis), Abby, Maddy, and Drew; and her great-grandchildren Lucas, Paisley, Riley, and Harlow. She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Charles Richter and her son Andy.
Marjie devoted her life to her family, always engaged in their activities from PTA to sports teams to marching band. As her grandchildren grew, she cherished attending their games, recitals, and competitions. She was also active in St. John’s Lutheran Church, contributing to Stephen Ministry and the fellowship/bereavement committee. Marjie enjoyed playing games and cards and sewing.
The family will welcome visitors to celebrate Marjie’s memory at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services in Glen Burnie (1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061) on Tuesday, June 11, from 4-8 PM.

A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Linthicum (300 W Maple Rd, Linthicum, MD 21090-2434) on Wednesday, June 12, at 12:30 PM, followed by a graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie (7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). A light reception will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
