Margaret "Little Margaret" Annette Mathis Bryant, age 45, of Marietta, Georgia entered into rest on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at her home. She is survived by her four children; Jake Bryant, Jr., Ava Bryant, Catherine Bryant, and Savannah Bryant all of Sandy Springs, GA; parents, Margaret Winn Holt Mathis, and Charles Leonard Mathis of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Rebecca Elizabeth Mathis Drucker and her husband, Michael and their children, Damian Drucker, and Madelyn Drucker all of Jefferson, GA; uncle, Dr. William "Bill" Grady Holt, III of Birmingham, AL; cousins, William David Roberts, Jr. of Mars Hill, NC and Christopher Reed Holt Roberts of Suwanee, GA, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dr. William Grady "W.G" Holt, Jr., and Margaret Winn Monfort Holt; paternal grandparents; James. H. "Mack" Mathis and Blanche Mathis; maternal great grandparents, Clarence Eugene Monfort, Jr., and Rebecca Roddey Winn Monfort; maternal great great grandparents, William Grady Holt, Sr., and Floy Jordan Holt; aunt, Rebecca "Becky" Winn Holt Roberts and uncle, David Roberts, Sr.
Margaret was born on October 13, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a 1998 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School where she was in the National Honor Society, Beta Club and was a Central Gwinnett Cheerleader. Margaret held the title of Miss Central Gwinnett High School in 1997. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Marketing. She was the Sales Director with The Manely Firm, P.C. – All Family Law for five years. She enjoyed her son, Jake's, athletic activities, trips and music with him, concerts with Ava, Graceland with Catherine and Lollapalooza with Savannah. Margaret's children were her greatest joys in life. Margaret is a decedent of Elisha Winn, considered the father of Gwinnett County, who built his home in Dacula, Georgia in 1812. This wonderful young lady will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Peace to you sweet "Little Margaret."
A Memorial Service to Honor the Life of Margaret Annette Mathis Bryant will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Dr. Joeann H. Malone, Ph.D., and Tim Dawson officiating. Personal Memories will be shared as well. The family will receive friends on Sunday before the service starting at 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Flowers are being accepted by the family or memorial gifts may be made to Sober Living or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI.org) in memory of Margaret Annette Mathis Bryant.
