O B I T U A R Y
Margaret Lillian Milby Tweedy of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Arvil Milby and Ida Lou Hudgins Milby, was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1937 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at her home. She was 88 years and one month of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church. She worked for General Electric as a line worker and was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #232.
She was united in marriage to her first husband: Billy Ray Bale who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to her husband of 40 years: William Truman Tweedy on June 2, 1984 who preceded her in death on September 13, 2024.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Tracy and Pam Bale of Summersville; five grandchildren: Shelbi Bale of Bowling Green, Gage Bale, Grace Bale both of Summersville, Natalia Warren of Campbellsville, Kelsey Wood of Burlington; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by her son: Marty Ray.
The graveside service for Margaret Lillian Milby Tweedy will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating.
