She was born on April 21, 1938 in Hutchinson the daughter of Clarence & Magdalen (Kegler) Bebo.
On August 2, 1958, Margaret A. "Margie" Bebo and Bernard E. "Bernie" Quast were joined in holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with five children.
Margie was formerly employed at Green Giant and later at The Blue Note Restaurant in Winsted for twenty years.
She was a lifelong, faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
Family was everything to Margie! She loved baking and quilting. She was famous for making monster cookies and homemade donuts for her grandchildren. She gave many of her quilts to family and charities.
Survived by her loving children: Kevin (Mary) Quast and Connie (David Hirsch) Quast all of Winsted, David (Sheila) Quast of Dassel and Shari (John) Zander of Howard Lake, grandchildren, Nathan (Catalina) Michaels, Eric (Chinyere) Michaels, Leah (Nicholas) Ramberg, Cory (Trista) Quast, Amanda (Nick) Rasmussen, Eric (Elise) Quast, Tim (Jamie) Zander, Jacob (Hallie) Zander, and thirteen great grandchildren; a brother Wilfred (Elaine) Bebo and by a sister Bernice Navratil; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Bernard E. "Bernie" Quast, a daughter Karen Quast, a great grandchild Edwin Quast, her parents, a brother Jerry Bebo and by a brother-in-law Alvin Navratil.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret "Margie" Quast will be held on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Matthew Wiering will be the Celebrant.
Inurnment Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th from 4-7 P.M. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A Prayer service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th at the church one hour prior to Mass.
Urn Bearers will be her grandchildren.
