Margaret "Aleen" Rapp

Aleen passed away on November 14, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas. Aleen was born September 18, 1940 in Newton, Kansas, the third of six children. She married Phillip B. Rapp in 1958, the summer after she graduated from Wichita East High. During 64 years of marriage, she raised two children, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She would drop everything if her family needed something and always wanted to know what she could do to help. She was always busy, first working at Dillons and then Wichita State Bank. After a brief residence in Hilo, Hawaii and then Florida, she settled into a happy life in Wichita, Kansas. Her organizational skills and attention to detail landed her at Aero Mach Labs as Office Manager for more than 30 years. She liked to stay active after retirement and attended ex- ercise class every morning where she had many friends. Her family includes Phillip B Rapp, her husband; Mitzi Burroughs, her daughter and her husband Nick, Craig Rapp, her son and his wife Amy; Grandchildren Tyler, Paige, Cale, Chadric and Charissa; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Camden, Aria, Bennett, Dominik, Aubrey, Brantley and Caiden; sisters, Jene Rapp and her husband Roger, Danna Oxley, brothers Ralph Keller and Byron Keller. She is preceded by her father, Daniel Keller, mother Leona (Fowler) Wiley, brother Jerry Keller. There will be a Celebration of Life Service/Gathering at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 25, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway.
