Margaret Willis Terrill

Margaret Willis Terrill, 76, of Ruston, Louisiana, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Shreveport. She was born on January 25, 1949, in Ruston to Alvie Monroe Willis and Pauline Lorett Willis.
She is survived by nephews Rick Beckett and Jeb Beckett of Shreveport, Chris White of Ruston, and nieces Sheila White and April White of Hollister, MO and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alvie Monroe and Pauline Lorett Willis, her sisters Esther Willis Beckett and Jerene Willis Fuller.
Margaret graduated from Ruston High School in 1967 and earned a degree from Louisiana Tech University. She retired after a career at the post office at Louisiana Tech and was currently working under the Lincoln Parish Police Jury for Humanitarian Enterprises of Lincoln Parish at the time of her death.
Margaret enjoyed working daily with her treasured co-workers who provided support and friendship to her. Margaret knew and was loved by a great number of people in Ruston through her work and the services which her office provided. Her family especially wants to remember her supervisor, Samantha Dimmer, who provided guidance and support for her in her last years. She will always be remembered for laughter and positive outlook towards life.
She was a member The Springs Church at the time of her death, where she sometimes played piano. A private service will be held in her memory.
