Margaret K. Vorpagel

Mary Margaret Rose Kennedy "Maime" Vorpagel, aged 63, left the party on Sunday, October 26th, 2025. She was always one to stay to the very end and she left this world the same way. Staying until the very end and enjoying a life well lived.

She is survived by her husband of more than 41 years, Bruce Vorpagel, and her children Anna Vorpagel Conant (Dale), Amanda Vorpagel Nyberg (Scott), Tegan Vorpagel Weston (David), and Miles Vorpagel (Caleb), and grandchildren Lucy, Elias, Charlotte Rose, Maximus, Andrew, as well as many fur-grandbabies; siblings Pat (Kathy), Joe (Jaclyn), Tom (Janice), Monica Kennedy, and sister-in-law Lynette Kennedy, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Kennedy (Gurney) and siblings Mary Ann, Mike, John, Bill, Mary Beth, and Jim Kennedy.

Margaret spent her life as the dedicated matriarch to her family, supporting and guiding her children and grandchildren as only a mother and caregiver can. More than anything she valued time with her family and found great joy in being a grandma, our Maime.

She is loved and will be missed every day. Funeral services will be held at the Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016, on Saturday, November 15th. Visitation between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, followed by short service at 4:00 and a luncheon to follow.
