Margaret Cramer Warner passed away after an illness on November 7, 2021, in the home she had lived in for 70 years at the age of 91. As the mother of four children, she made use of her many talents by sewing clothes for her daughters, crocheting sweaters and blankets, and taught herself how to upholster furniture. Unlike most moms of her era, she became a working mother in 1960 as a part-time cashier at Miller's Department Store working a shift opposite of her husband. She worked her way up to the courtesy desk, head cashier and ultimately the assistant bookkeeper. She went to work at Port Erie Plastics on the overnight shift and became a top operator, eventually becoming an inspector. She took blue print reading courses at Behrend College to help herself with her job. She worked at Continental Rubber and Accu-Form Plastics until retirement. She didn't stay retired long. She went to work for Metz Culinary in the cafeteria at Lincoln School first as a dietary aid and then as a manager for 21 years and was known as Mrs. Marge. She continued with many craft activities. She passed these skills on to the daughters and granddaughters. More recently, she was a member of the Knitting Circle at Mercy Hilltop Senior Center and the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. James R.C. Church. She most recently had been working on a "couch cat bed" for her grandson's cat, Zoey.

She was a resilient woman who survived a year of chemotherapy to come out stronger. She survived multiple heart attacks. The physician was surprised she lived through the last one and continued to thrive for an additional three years.

She was the daughter of the late Michael and Hermina Kramer of Slovakia. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, John S. Warner; and as the last living member of her family, her siblings, Michael (Millie), John (Helen), Helen (Joseph) Bunk, Peter (Trudy), Stephen, Charles (Elizabeth), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her children, Kathryn (Dana) Perry, Sheila Warner, Loretta (Patrick) Tech, and Jeffrey (Ginny McFadden); grandchildren, Krista Perry, Jennifer Perry, Amanda (Wesley) Hurd, Karen (A.J.) Kaye, Simone (Anthony Baer), and Evan Warner. Further survived by great-grandchildren, Colden Lamb, Lincoln and Tessa Hurd, Luca Kaye, and Gabriel, Rebekah, and Lydia Baer.

Due to Covid-19, all services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James R.C. Church, 2635 Buffalo Road, Erie, PA 16510.
