Ahora él se encuentra en esa paz eterna al lado de su querida esposa, Maria Felix Abundez Castro y sus padres. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Odilon Mata Abundez, Mercedes Mata Abundez, y Margarita Mata Abundez; nueve nietos; familia y amistades, aquí y en su natal Quetzalapa.
La familia les invita a su velorio cual se llevara acabo el dia miercoles, 28 de agosto del 2024 de 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm en la funeraria The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Donde se le brindará un servicio de oración antes de su partida a México. Su santo sepelio será en el Panteón Municipal de Quetzalapa, en Guerrero, México. Margarito "Pillillo" Mata Rodriguez, 89, of Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico; passed away on August 20, 2024. Son of Mercedes Rodriguez Hernandez and Jesus Mata Figueroa; Margarito was born on June 23, 1935.
He is now in eternal rest alongside his dear wife, Maria Felix Abundez Castro and his parents. He is survived by his children, Odilon Mata Abundez, Mercedes Mata Abundez, and Margarita Mata Abundez, nine grandchildren; extended family and friends both here and back home in Quetzalapa.
His visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at The Memorial Chapel of Waukegan, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. A prayer service will also be held on this day, prior to his transfer to Mexico. His interment will be held at Panteón Municipal de Quetzalapa, in Guerrero, Mexico.
