Marguerite Denise Schorr

On January 8, 2025, Denise/Deedee (nee Graham) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Denise had been a former resident of Somerdale before moving to Audubon 25 years ago. She treasured being a pediatric nurse, from the children she could help to lasting friendships she made along the way. Denise worked at several hospitals including Cooper Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital before retiring from St. Chris. She was a longtime, devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Camden.
Denise was predeceased by her husband, Edward William Schorr. She is lovingly survived by her children, William Schorr, Peggy Schorr, Thomas Schorr and Bernadette Russell; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Connie, Ryan, Andrew, Tyler, Eric, Stephanie and Jacob as well as 8 great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by her grand-dogs Walter and Graham.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The Pocono house was a retreat for all. She enjoyed traveling all over the world with her lifelong friends by her side. Her retirement brought out her creative side. Many people have been a recipient of one of her personal greeting cards.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Monday, January 13th from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ where Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Urn burial following mass will take place at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
