Maria Magdalena Araniba, aged 83, entered the arms of the Lord surrounded by the love of her cherished family on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025.

Maria Magdalena was born in El Salvador and later moved to the United States in her late 20s, bringing with her the warmth of her heritage and the strength of her spirit. She was the treasured daughter of late Maria T. Araniba and late Antonio Flores, and was lovingly raised by late Leanor and Victor Araniba. She grew up alongside six siblings-four brothers: Alonzo, Mauricio, Manuel, and Oscar; and two sisters: Leonor and Rosario-forming bonds of laughter, loyalty, and lifelong memories.

In her own life, Maria Magdalena was a devoted mother to five children: Francis, William, Yanira, Veronica, and Nuria. Her nurturing care extended to her grandchildren-eleven beloved grandchildren: Austin, Ashley, Shane, Katherina, Christopher, Alex, Warner, Heather, Ryan, Victoria, and Monica-and four great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.

A woman of profound faith, Maria Magdalena was a faithful follower in the Pentecostal tradition who answered God's calling as a missionary of love and service. Her life truly embodied her devotion: she loved and cared for children, and she carried in her heart a servant's spirit. She prayed tirelessly for the sick, and she believed deeply in the power of compassion, hope and faith in others.

Her legacy is one of an incredible heart. Maria Magdalena loved her family more than anything and offered everything she could to support the next person. She was totally devoted to Jesus Christ, a Godly example, and a woman full of faith. Although small and stature, she was a tower of strength and a woman faithful until the end.

A service to celebrate Maria Magdalena's life will be held at Lehrer-Gibilisco in Rahway NJ on Saturday, November 22nd, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor the gift she was to all who knew her.

Our beloved Mama will be deeply missed yet forever remembered-for her faith, her kindness, her boundless love, and the light she brought to her family's lives.
