With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, María del Carmen Maldonado, who left this world peacefully on July 26, 2025.
Born on March 27, 1957, in San Gabriel, Jalisco, México, María del Carmen lived a life full of strength, devotion, and love. She was a woman of deep faith and even deeper compassion, who dedicated her life to her family and carried herself with grace.
Her hands were never idle-always cooking, caring, comforting, and praying. Her presence brought warmth and peace, and her laughter filled the hearts of those around her. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband and those who went before her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children, her grandchildren, and her sisters and brothers, who will carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and kindness.
Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held as follows:
Velorio (Viewing): Thursday, August 8, 2025 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Rosary at 7:00 p.m.) Thomason Funeral Home 2220 S Colorado St, Lockhart, TX 78644
