Maria Teresa Elizondo entered eternal rest on December 24, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born in Comstock, Texas on February 12, 1937.
She is preceded by her parents, Francisco Guerrero and Sapopa Guerrero, brothers and sisters, her husband Rogelio R. Elizondo (Korean Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient), daughter Martha Dora Cervantez, Son-in-law Ramon Ontiveros and grandson Raymond Anthony Ontiveros, Jr.
Survivors are Roger C. Elizondo (Debbie) Grand Prairie, TX, Raymond Stephen Elizondo (Rebecca), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, loving siblings, Agueda Guerrero (Sacramento, CA), and Carlos R. Guerrero (St. Louis, MS), nieces, nephews and cousins.
We extend our deepest gratitude to her loving private health care providers, Alba and daughter Ivette for their outstanding services wholeheartedly and their families. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Maria Teresa Elizondo worked as a mama patrol for the S.A.I.S.D., loved working with the children. In the 1970's she sang live from the studios of KCOR, in San Antonio, Texas. She volunteered her time at San Fernando Cathedral writing songs and singing with the Spanish Choir on international television for years. She retired from the S.A.I.S.D. as a school Liberian.
