María Guadalupe fue nacida en Guadalajara 12 De Diciembre el año 1961, hija de Otilia Acuña y su padre Margarito Díaz. Fue traída a los Estados Unidos en el año 1975 con un sueño para una vida mejor para ella y sus hermanas/hermanos Rosa Díaz, Nena Díaz, Daniel Díaz y Jesús Díaz. Sin miedo y con esperanza fue como empezó su vida en la ciudad de Los Ángeles.
Asistió unos años en la escuela Roosevelt High School donde participio en el baile folklorico, le encantaba bailar fue su pasión. Tuvo muchas amistades con las que estuvo muy cerca a ella y fue querida por muchos.
En el Año de 1982 conoció a José Martín García el hombre que se convertiría su esposo. Tu vieron una bonita historia de cómo se conocieron en un club llamado Teresa jamai, se casaron solo un año después Julio 30, 1983. Al año tuvieron a su primer hijo José Martín García jr. En 1986 nació su primera hija Sueheidi Garcia y por último a su hija Evelyn García. Maria se dedicó a crear a sus hijos por que ser mamá siempre fue su prioridad. Cuando sus hijos crecieron un poco más trabajó muchos años en la escuela Sunrise.
Sus hijos crecieron y también su familia tuvo dos nietos Izaiah y Ethan acompañados por tres nietas Kalie, kristabel y Adalyn. Fueron la adoración de ella estar entre familia y disfrutanto a sus nietos fue lo mejor. Para ellos fue su NANA
