Maria Ernestina Kimball

Maria Ernestina Kimball (Galindo),72, a resident of Columbus, NM went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2024.
Everyone who knew her, knew her as Ernie.
Ernie was born on November, 25, 1951 in Columbus, NM to Manuel R. and Natalie E. Galindo
Ernie graduated from Deming High School in 1970. She worked for the City of Deming for 25 years and retired at 43.
She was a very loving and devoted mother and wife.
Ernie enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, making stain glass, sewing, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband and lived in Orno Maine 6 months out of the year. She also enjoyed antique shopping with her friends in Maine. Most of all she enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Skip Kimball, Son's Manuel Mesa (wife Nikki), Daniel Mesa (wife Angelique) and Daughter Diana Valenzuela (husband Ruben) all of Deming, Step-Daughter Tammy Mohler (husband Jeff) of Georgia, Step-Son Kenneth Kimball of Las Cruces, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews that were special to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel R and Natalia E Galindo; two Brothers, Raul and Jaime Galindo and one sister, Irma Valverde.
