Maria, you are very much missed. My Mom misses you the most every day she's at the Store and you're not there to pop in to say hi. You loved her with all your heart, always offering to help her in whatever way you could, some of the most meaningful actions being as small as offering to get her a coffee or do a bank run on days she was working alone. You never failed to be right there when she needed you. And she was always right there when you needed her.
This photo is a perfect example of how you were a part of our family for many years. You were always in the middle of the chaos of a Cannon/Smith family gathering, absorbing the happiness (and loudness!) until the night got late. You said these events were your favorites, and it seemed like the simple action of being included would keep you going for months afterwards.
Maria, you taught me a lot about compassion. Lessons that were hard for me to learn, but have made me a better daughter, mother, sister, and friend. You will be so dearly missed today and for years to come. We love you <3

I have so many fond memories of Maria, spending time with her at sunrise boutique and telling each other stories from our lives. We shared so much laughter together over the many years I knew her. I always loved her company, and getting coffees with her. Maria was kind, and funny, and a wonderful friend. I will miss her dearly. May you rest in peace my friend.

True friendships in life are rare... and i was blessed with Maria as my true friend . I´ve known Maria for over 25 years... however knowing her the best the past ten years. She was a constant in my life... 6 days a week she would stop in her " happy place" my store Sunrise Boutique where she would be surrounded by my employees, customers and be part of the group. We all laughed a lot, told stories of our lives and enjoyed each other´s company. Maria would always offer to help in any way, go to the bank, get us coffee or help unpack things... her eves would light up every time a new box showed up! She loved to shop
During holidays she would often share time with my family, and extended families, enjoying good food and company . She was loved by many and the void in my heart is very real. I cannot even imagine my life without her and yet it is the way it will be. I will find her in the sunlight, in rainbows and anything in nature and will smile and thank God that i knew her and for the special times spent together. God bless you my friend, i will love you forever

Maria was part of many memories in my life. Whether it was a holiday dinner, spending time in Sunrise Boutique or just seeing the love my sister Cynthia had for her good friend. Thank you Maria for sharing your life with us, you will truly be missed. Rest in peace
