Maria "Hilda" G. Muxlow, 73, of Caseville, passed away on March 19, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Dilley, TX on January 14, 1951. In her youth, she would travel with her family between Texas and Michigan following various produce harvests. She took up permanent residence in Michigan in 1962. She met Donald Muxlow at a bowling alley in Imlay City and they married in August of 1973. Together they had 4 children and operated Don Muxlow Trucking Co. for 40 years. As retired snowbirds, they spent winters in Sarasota, FL collecting shells and shark's teeth on the beach and summers in Caseville, MI tending to her gardens and flower beds. She loved garage sales, thrift shops, and a good campfire. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Hilda is survived by her children Katie (Terry) Weld, Krystal (Brad) Muxlow, Neil (Carla) Muxlow, Jordan (Amanda) Muxlow; grandchildren Estrella, Tristin, Skylar, Braylyn, Ayden, Cadence, Maxim, and Emerson; brothers Efrain and Jose Garcia; sisters Tina Meloche, Maria F. Cook, Maria A. Garcia, Juanita Kipper, and Marina Seger; also many nieces and nephews.
