Beloved wife of the late Nicolas Sanchez, loving mother of Olivo (Socorro) Sanchez of Bridgeview, IL, Hilario (Maritrini) Sanchez of Plainfield, Horencio (Isidra) Sanchez of Romeoville, IL and Ricardo (Isabel Guadalupe) Perales of Cancún, Mexico, loving grandmother of Oliver Sanchez; Dan Oliva, Erik Sanchez and Arely Sanchez; Aubrey, Chelsea, Isabel and Daisy Sanchez; Angel, Noemi, Rosemary and Nadia Perales, cherished great-grandmother of six, devoted daughter of the late Ipolito and Amalia Perales, dear sister of Rogaciano and the late Jerimo, Rosita, Eulalia, Victoria, Josefina, Encarnacion, Salvador and Lola, fond aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt and friend of many.
Maria came to the United States in 1985. She was a deeply religious, read the Bible and was a member of Bolingbrook Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church in Downers Grove, IL. Maria enjoyed spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, 3:00-7:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
An additional visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 10:00-11:00 AM at Bolingbrook Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church (Faith United Methodist Church), 432 59th St, Downers Grove, IL, 60516.
A celebration of Maria's life will follow on Monday, November 10, 11:00 AM, at the church with Pastor Miguel Ramos officiating.
Interment: Plainfield Township Cemetery, Plainfield, IL.
