Marian Albert (Sam)
Age 99, of Brookline, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Marian was the beloved wife of the late Edward Albert; loving mother of Fr. Paul (Rose) Albert of Blissfield, Michigan, Ken (Ellen) Albert of Key West, Florida, Brian (Donna) Albert of Pittsburgh, and Michael Albert of Venetia; Situ of Laura (Casey) Liegeois, Gregory (Britney) Albert, Anton Albert, Michael Albert, Christopher (Stephanie) Albert, Brianna (Cole) Puchi, Jordan Albert, and Alec Albert; Great-Situ of Paige, Jackson, Ava, Elias, and Miriam. Marian was preceded in death by 10 siblings, and parents Abood and Shafika Saba (Sam). She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Bridgeville, Marian married and settled in Pittsburgh following WWII. She was a faithful and loving wife who, by her steadfast example, taught her children and their children what it means to love God and love your neighbor. She perfected over many decades the culinary art of Middle Eastern cuisine, and developed a devoted following of patrons and many fine students. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the choir at St. George for over 50 years. Marian will be remembered for always having something affirmative and positive to say about everyone. Her unceasing prayers and steadfast faith have truly moved mountains.
