Marian Audrey Corley (nee, Long), 89, passed away on August 16, 2025. Marian was born in Washington, DC to Shirley Long and Jean Beach. Marian was preceded by her husband of 50 years, Carl Vernon Corley and her daughter, Kathleen Pearson and her son, Michael Corley. She is survived by her son, Matthew Corley, her grandchildren, Melissa Corley and Edgar Pearson, Jr and her great grandchildren, Carlie Pearson, Jacob Pearson and Cassie Pearson and their mother, Hollie Pearson. She loved her family, cuddling with her cat, Piper, watching birds, gardens, her art classes and ice cream (in any form).
She was the embodiment of kindness and internal strength. Her warmth and bright smile will forever be remembered and missed. Her wisdom and kindness will always be part of our greatest treasures.
There is only one happiness in this life: to love and be loved. And with that, she found true happiness.
Marian's wishes are that all purchased flowers be potted plants that can be made into a beautiful garden.
