Marian Rae Dobyns (nee Olive)
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 at the age of 88. She is the loving wife of the late Tony Dobyns; cherished mother of Richard (Linda) Jr, Debra Nuernberger, Laura Karandzieff, Jon (Suzanne) Dobyns, Jeanne (Steve) Brandmeyer, the late Larry (Dee) Dobyns, and the late Lisa Dobyns; beloved grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 21. She was the dear daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (nee Price) Olive and sister of Ron (Gail) Olive, the late Loraine (Art) Grix, the late Delores (Bill) Netzla, the late Shirley (Bob) Eckardt, and the late Raymond M. Olive.
Marian and her husband Tony proudly owned and operated Aloha Heating & Air for over 30 years. She previously worked in the Hazelwood and Ft. Zumwalt School Districts for a decade. In her free time she loved being outdoors, tending to her flowers, collecting dolls, and traveling to her favorite place - Hawaii. Marian also found great joy in baking, entertaining friends and family, and playing a game of Mahjong. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her fur babies. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
