Marian Alice Hoelting, 95, Lawrence, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Perkins Pavilion-Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska. Rosary will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 10:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 10:30 a.m. both at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Lawrence, Nebraska with Father Denton Morris officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Lawrence, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Lawrence Visitation Chapel, Lawrence, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department and EMT'S. The service will be live-streamed on Merten-Butler Mortuary's website. Marian was born on January 26, 1930 to William M. and Oliva M. (Rempe) Ostdiek at Mt. Clare, Nebraska. Marian attended St. Stephen Catholic School through the eighth grade and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1947. On October 8, 1951 she married Roland A. Hoelting at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Lawrence, Nebraska. Marian was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was a stay at home mom and helped with the work on the farm. She loved her cats.

Marian is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul (Nancy) Hoelting, Lawrence, Nebraska, Kurt (Kelly) Hoelting, Lawrence, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Kristen (Curt) Pavelka, Jason (Taryn) Hoelting, Kayla (Ben) Spirk, Kelsey (Jesse) Prochaska; nine great grandchildren, Keeley and Colby Pavelka, JP and Lorelei Hoelting, Noah and Hannah Spirk and Parker, Cameron and Hayden Prochaska. Marian is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lyle (Joan) Hoelting.
