Marian DeLynn Schmidt, age 91, went to be with Lord on Friday, August 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland and Marian Haynes; Husband, Earl Schmidt; Son in law and daughter; Rob and Wanda Ward and sisters; Marilyn Spaulding and Shirley Zaremba.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy(Laura) Schmidt, Herb(Shawn) Mead, Earl(Jamie) Schmidt, Brent(Pam) Sheathelm, Holly(Dave) Cokonougher, Wendy Sheathelm, and Heidi(Scott) Peck.
Her grandchildren; Amy McGee, Randall Schmidt, Carrie Schmidt, Herbert Mead, Nicki Skuse, Jessica Hill, Jessica Leigh Spence, Brad Mead, Josh Mead, Andrew Brandenburger, Courtney Lynn, Julia Martinez, Destini Harreth, Dana Harreth, Tyler Sheathelm, Brie Hopfinger, Laura Cokonougher, David Cokonougher, Daniel Cokonougher, Amanda Lupu, Caleb Cokonougher, Michelle Mullins, Justin Daniels, Brandon Slusher, Kailee Slusher, Gavin Slusher, Larry Schmidt and many great grandchildren.
She loved her family and will be deeply missed; We have peace knowing that she is now in Heaven, free from pain.
She was a member of House of Prayer in Haslett, MI and Resurrection Life (Restore) in Ionia, MI. She was very active in the church and led many people to the Lord. She loved Jesus. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers.
Marian Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at House of Prayer, 9974 Old M-78, Haslett, MI 48840. A luncheon to follow. Please come and celebrate her life with us.
