Marian Stonum Obituary

Marian was born September 25, 1941 to Lester and Jane Akers of Lawson, Mo. She married Robert A. Stonum in 1959. Robert preceded her in death in 2018.
Marian owned Stonum's Café in Lawson, worked as a CNA, and traveled for Home Health Care. Later she worked for Liberty Hospital. She was a member of Lawson United Christian Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Jane) Akers; daughter, Kathy (Rick) McQuerrey; son, John (Denise) Stonum; grandchildren, Jeremy (Ashley) Stonum, Garrett Stonum, and Lindsey (Andy) Schmitz; great grandchildren, Corbin, Allen and Aurora Stonum, Kenlei and Kelce Stonum, and Henry Schmitz; step grandchildren, Keri (Steve) Tjaden and Rick (Amanda) McQuerrey; step great grandchildren, Evie, Vivien, Ava, Ella and Brooklyn McQuerrey, and Reuben Tjaden; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at the Lawson United Christian Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Lawson United Christian Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Lawson Chapel.

Marian was our neighbor for a few years had her up to eat with a few of us here. Your mom was a treat enjoyed her so much .Jean Ammon
