Marie Anne Andersen

Marie Anne Andersen, 86, of The Birches of Lehigh Valley, formerly of Sunland ,CA, passed away on December 19, 2025 at the Advanced Health Care of Hanover, Hanover Twp. She was the wife of the late Carl Andersen. Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 17, 1939 to the late Anthony and Ameila (Mohar) Turriziani. Marie dedicated her career as an administrative assistant in the construction industry, with Pozo Construction, Los Angeles, CA. Beyond her professional life, she was known for her nurturing spirit, having also worked as a preschool teacher, where she brought joy and education to countless young minds. She was actively involved in her community, contributing her voice to the women's club in Sunland-Tujunga, CA and penning a beloved column titled "Town Talk" for the weekly Record Ledger Paper in Sunland-Tujunga, CA.
Marie was a founding resident of The Birches of the Lehigh Valley. One of her cherished traditions was going to different local restaurants with her friends from The Birches and their families. She so enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors: daughters: Denise Andersen of Canoga Park, CA, Susan (Robert) Stone of Forks Twp.; brother: Anthony M. Turriziani of Ocean Shores, WA; grandchildren: Matthew (Scarlett) Stone & Amanda Stone. Predeceased by her daughter: Kathleen Andersen.
