Marie Calpin Obituary

Born in West Scranton, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Marone Ventrone, she was a member of St. Clare Church. A graduate of West Scranton High School, before retirement, she was employed by Hensel's Photo Lab and the Davidow Foundation, both in Scranton. Marie was also a former member of the Elmhurst Country Club.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dominick Ventrone; and three sisters, Margaret Nicolosi, Carmella Bulzoni and Jen Evon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Clare Church, 2301 N. Washington Ave. Interment will immediately follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church before Mass.
