I'll always see you sitting with a book, engrossed with the story you're studying while loving the scene happening all around you. Present and engaged with the people and place around you and simultaneously existing in that other world where words come from. I'll always see you with your head leaned in, that look of wonder on your face listening to whoever you're talking with. I'll always see you studying the crowd, studying the silence, studying the emotions that rise and the ones that smoulder - translating all of it into your writings. I'll always see you sitting with Mischelle, smiles on both of your faces - watching, talking together, dissecting scenes, putting them back together again, making private plans, sipping wine with friends, listening and laughing. Thank you Michael - we all miss you so crazy hard.
