Marie G. Curry of Brownfield was promoted to Glory on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 76. She was born October 13, 1936 in Gardiner, New York to Richard and Mildred (Quick) Stuhmer. She worked as a caregiver in the healthcare industry.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Doreen Heal and husband Craig of Woodbury, CT and Jennifer Edwards and husband Chris of Brownfield, TX; three grandchildren, Kelsey Mumby of Cedar Rapids, IA, Madeline McKinney of Woodbury, CT and Kirsti Edwards of Lubbock, TX.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mildred Stuhmer; a brother, Oliver Stuhmer and a sister, Janette Simpson.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society 3513 10th St Lubbock, Texas 79415 or to Brownfield Rehabilitation and Care Center 510 S First Street Brownfield, Texas 79316.
