Marie Theresa (Marisa Tully) Fasulo, 65, of Childs, passed away at home on Friday, June 20, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Robert Fasulo, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. They would have celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on September 24.
Born in Scranton, Marie was the daughter of the late Gerard and Theresa (Jackanin) Tully. A proud 1978 graduate of Mid Valley High School, she was employed by Harper and Row Publishers in Throop and later served the Mid Valley School District as both a crossing guard and food service employee.
Marie was a devoted wife and a loving mother—her son Nicholas was the heart of her world. She was known for her kind and gentle spirit, and her deep compassion extended to animals, especially her cherished pets. She was a free spirit who loved big and loved hard. She was a lifelong fan of Bruce Springsteen and enjoyed sunny poolside afternoons with her son, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her beloved son, Nicholas Fasulo of Childs; two brothers, Gerard Tully Jr. and wife Ann of Olyphant, and David Tully of Olyphant; two sisters, Patricia Tully and Erin Tully, both of Peckville; her godchildren, Jonathan Paciotti and Erica Grzenda; and several nieces and nephews who will hold her memory dear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 200 Delaware St., Olyphant. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until mass time.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
