Marie Cecelia Koskey, 80, Mosinee, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her home under the loving care of her children and loved ones.
Marie was born April 6, 1943, in Mosinee, the daughter of the late Roman and Cedelia (Koss) Ryczek. On April 7, 1961, she married her life partner, Robert Koskey, who preceded her in death in 2019. The couple spent their life working together building the family farm. On the farm she was able to focus on the animals she loved and cared for and the ginseng gardens, all while raising her children. While not on the farm, Marie loved to frequent local restaurants, take coffee breaks with “Grandma Suzzie,” and visit her children. Her fun loving, feisty personality helped her make friends and enjoy life EVERYWHERE she went with a smile on her face.
Marie is survived by her children: Lori (George) Baumann, Mosinee, James (Carrie) Koskey, Junction City, Brenda (Paul) Wawrzyniec, Mosinee, Michael (Tammy) Koskey, Mosinee, and Jennifer (Michael) McCarty, West DesMoines, IA; and eight grandchildren, Cody and Nick, Kurtis, Nina and Jeremy, Jonrie and Mikayla, and George; three great-grandchildren, William, Jaylyn, and Spencer, she is further survived by a brother, Ronald (Paulette) Ryczek, Mosinee, and sisters; Darlene (Ray) Brusky, Mosinee, and Beverly Landrath, Wausau.
Private family services will be held. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family with thoughts and prayers at this time. Marie always had time to stop an say hi and it was never a dull moment. I was happy to have her as a neighbor as long as I was able to live 'down the road'. Sure do miss Dam Road! Marie will be missed very much.
